IT & Cyber Day at MacDill AFB

February 19, 2020 @ 8:30 am - 2:30 pm

Join FBC and the Military Cyber Professionals Association for the IT and Cyber Day at MacDill Air Force Base. The goal of this expo is to stimulate exchanges of information between industry partners and MacDill AFB Information Management Officers, Information Technology personnel and Contracting Officers, as well as end-users, developers, scientists, researchers and project managers in the areas of cybersecurity and information technology.

Because of the size of this location, FBC will work with the Public Affairs Offices and Military Cyber Professionals Association, concentrating promotions on information technology and both cyber- and contracting-personnel from major commands and smaller units/tenants.

MacDill is an important base to connect with, and they’re looking to work with you. Don’t miss out!

We launched GovDevSecOpsHub to focus on the next evolution of application development, DevSecOps, which brings cybersecurity teams and tools into the development process sooner so that applications are more secure and safeguarded against cyber threats.

In  GovDevSecOpsHub we’ll look at the evolution from traditional software and application development to the DevOps model. We’ll talk about the importance of moving from DevOps to DevSecOps. We’ll highlight the technologies and cultural changes necessary to make this shift happen. And we’ll profile government organizations and executives that are the “boots on the ground” as the government pivots towards the DevSecOps model.
